out now - BLR017 - Go Back (Beatslappaz Remix)

Australia's bass music duo known as Beatslappaz (aka Juxtapose and Eyan) have taken Justin Johnson's "Go Back" track and given it a Holy Bass Fucker vibe of insane proportions. It's a peak-time track full of winding synth hits and of course enough bass to rock the place! Justin takes his Disco House remix that was released on Cable Recordings and gives it a proper Funky Breaks treatment.

Full release date: Oct 13, 2014

I'll definitely be giving both mixes attention in my sets.

out now - BLR016 "Sustainability (Wardian Remix)"

Originally released on my House/ Tech House label Cable Recordings as a Progressive House track, I decided to have my buddy Wardian give this a nice Breaks treatment.
Adrian (Wardian) did a great job with retaining some of the original elements and giving this a nod to proper Electro.
It's a little bit funky, a lil bit Electro, and a little bit retro - but it's funky as hell. I hope you dig it as much as I do!

out now! "Funky Beats" by Justin Johnson

Featured and reviewed on Juno Download!

"When a tune's called "Funky Beats" you can be sure of two things - it's funky and it has beats. There's plenty more, though, like the firing breakneck tempo, the 80s-a-licious robo vox and a hard hammering acid line. Pushing and shoving with a groove that would fit on any dancefloor in the last 20 years, Justin's excelled himself on this one."
